Privacy policy

What we collect

• Account: email, optional name, password hash, language preference.
• Usage: which courses you enrolled in, your progress, certificates issued.
• Billing: credit transactions (deposits, purchases). Card details go to our payment processor; we don't store them.
• Screening: your answers to the questionnaire and (optionally) your birth date, time, and place — used to compute your natal chart.
• Palm geometry: if you enable the palm step, a numeric vector is computed on-device. The photo is sent to AI only with your consent and is not stored.

What we don't do

• We don't sell your data.
• We don't share your purchase or learning history with advertisers.
• We don't use your content to train external models without explicit consent.
• We don't retain or transmit the image of your palm. The image is processed in your browser and discarded.

Your rights

You can export or delete your account from Profile (deletion endpoint coming with launch). For data requests, email privacy@walkself.com.

Biometric note

WalkSelf reads your hand geometry on your device — only a numeric vector is processed. With your explicit consent the photo is sent once to our AI provider (Anthropic, USA) for the reading and immediately discarded; we never store it. Users in Illinois and other BIPA jurisdictions are geo-excluded from the palm step; the screening works without it (confidence drops from HIGH to MEDIUM).

Birth-data note

If you provide birth date, time, and place, that information is used only to compute your natal chart for your personal report. It is not shared with third parties and you can request deletion at any time.

Account is shared across WalkSelf and partner sites

If you also use other sites in our platform family, the same account is reused (single sign-on). Data collected on a partner site is governed by that site's privacy policy.
